Evi is 7 months old already! She has her 2 bottom teeth in, has learned how to crawl, can pull up and walk around furniture, loves swimming, says momma, but only when she is sad or mad, and is practicing to become an acrobat.
A couple of weeks ago she woke up earlier than I wanted to so I put her in her bouncy chair on the couch and put on her reading video and I laid back down. (I have done this a couple times before when I've either been really tired or wanted to shower.) A few minutes later I heard her scratching at the couch. I kept thinking, "I don't think she can reach the couch while sitting in the bouncy chair." But being so tired I just kept laying there. I kept hearing her scratching so I decided I better get up and check on her. Somehow the little turkey had managed to flip herself out of the bouncy chair and was hanging upside down off the couch with one foot caught in the bouncy chair strap keeping her from hitting the floor. It scared me so bad I thought she was going to hit the floor before I could make it over to her. She wasn't crying or anything, just hanging upside watching her video!
Today she was standing by her walker on the hardwood floor with her socks on. Her feet started sliding and she went right down into the splits without falling. Oh the times I wish I could grab the camera fast enough!
She is adorable! You guys look so happy. We really need to get together and catch up!
