Evi's 1st Birthday!

I can't believe my baby girl is a year old already! She has been my little sunshine over the past year! Since her brother decided to come early we had to postpone her birthday party a couple of weeks so on her birthday we got balloons and made cupcakes. Then later had a party with the rest of the family.

So, I think our cake making days may be over! We had designed a beautiful cake for Evi's birthday party. I spent days before the party making fondant, gumpaste, and baking the cakes. We were so excited to have this amazing cake as the centerpiece of the party. We spent the entire morning of the party putting the cake together. The party was supposed to be at 3:00pm. By 2:30 nothing had gone right and we were beyond stressed. The cake had started to fall over and there was nothing we could do to fix it. So Jerimiah grabbed me and we smashed the cake to pieces! It was the biggest stress reliever ever! Needless to say we no longer had a cake to serve. Jerimiah ran to Macey's and bought a cake and I frantically tried to clean up the house! Sorry Evi! Maybe next year!
Evi loved the balloons her daddy bought her! She ran back and forth across the living room for over an hour playing with them! She was so cute!

Evi trying to blow her candle out. She couldn't figure it out, she just kept snorting like a pig! She was fine while the candle was lit but as soon as Jerimiah helped her blow it out she freaked out from the smoke. We thought it was so funny that we did it again. We are mean parents!

Mmmmmmm!

All Done!

Playing in the ball pit that Grandpa Steve and Grandma Kathy gave her with her cousins Keaton and Colby. She has had so much fun playing in there!

Happy Birthday! (With a boring birthday cake!)

I like to try and post what new things Evi has learned since the last post but she does so many new things I don't know if I can remember them all.......Some of her new words include Adler, banana, bubble, Brown Bear, cracker, caca, and tickle tickle. She runs all over the place especially away from me when she has something she's not supposed to. She can get on and off her horse and Dora car all by herself, she can go up and down stairs with help, she loves exploring and knows if there is somthing new sitting out or if something is out of place. She loves her baby brother! Especially poking at him while he eats. She loves to tickle him and mocks him when he cries. She has been such a joy and blessing to have in our lives!
